Billing & Invoicing
How do I create a bill for a customer?
Go to Billing from the bottom menu → Search medicine name or use Voice Billing → Add quantity → Enter customer name → Click Save & Print. The bill is created instantly with GST calculated automatically.
How does voice billing work?
Tap the microphone button on the billing screen and speak the medicine name in Hindi or English — e.g. "Paracetamol 500mg 2 strips". MedShra searches your inventory and adds it to the bill automatically.
How do I print or download an invoice?
After saving a bill, click Print to print directly or Download PDF to save it. You can also share it on WhatsApp using the share button. All past bills are in Billing → Recent Bills → View All.
Inventory Management
How do I add a new medicine to inventory?
Go to StockAdd Product → Enter medicine name, batch number, expiry date, MRP, and quantity → Save. The medicine is immediately available for billing and expiry tracking.
How do I set low stock alerts?
When adding or editing a product, set the Reorder Level field. When stock falls below this number, MedShra shows a low stock alert on your dashboard and in Smart Alerts.
How does expiry tracking work?
Every medicine has an expiry date added during stock entry. MedShra alerts you 30, 60, and 90 days before expiry. You can view all expiring medicines in Stock → Expiry Report.

How do I get expiry alerts?
MedShra automatically alerts you when medicines are expiring in 30, 60, or 90 days. Alerts appear on your dashboard and in Smart Alerts. Make sure expiry date is entered when adding stock.
Where can I see all expiring medicines?
Go to Stock → Expiry Report — all medicines expiring in the next 90 days are listed here with batch number, quantity, and exact expiry date. You can filter by 30/60/90 days.
Supplier Portal
How does the supplier portal work?
Suppliers can manage their product catalog, receive orders from retailers, send invoices, and track payments — all in one place. Retailers browse the catalog and place orders directly. No WhatsApp needed.
How do I connect with a retailer?
As a supplier, go to Retailers → Invite Retailer — send an invite via WhatsApp or share your supplier code. Once they join, they can browse your catalog and place orders directly.
GST & Reports
How do I generate a GST report?
Go to Ledger → GST Reports → Select month → Click Download. Reports include GSTR-1 sales summary, tax collected, and HSN-wise breakdown — ready to file with your CA.
Which GST rate applies to my medicines?
Most medicines are 12% GST. Life-saving drugs and some essential medicines are 5% or 0%. You can set the GST rate per product when adding to inventory. MedShra calculates it automatically during billing.
Account & Settings
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
On the login page, click Forgot Password? → Enter your email → Check your inbox for a reset link → Click the link and set a new password. If you don't get the email, check spam or WhatsApp us.
How do I upgrade my plan after the trial?
Go to Settings → Subscription → Choose a plan → Pay securely via Razorpay (UPI, card, net banking). Your account upgrades immediately after payment.
How do I update my shop name and GSTIN?
Go to Settings → Shop Settings → Update shop name, address, GSTIN, phone number → Save. These details appear on all your bills and invoices automatically.
